Sri Lanka – Indonesia friendly encounter of sevens rugby concluded this evening (13th) at the CR&FC grounds, with Sri Lanka Lions winning the Men’s competition and defending club sevens champions Army SC continued their domination in the Women’s segment.

Convincing Kingswood down Zahira at Bogambara
Kingswood College returned to winning ways with an 18-05 victory over the Zahira at Bogambara stadium in their Singer School’s rugby action in the hill capital earlier this evening. The game was tied 5-all at half time in a stop-start encounter amidst the few spectators present at the grounds. Kingswood dominated large parts of the game and should have won by more were it not for a number of handling errors and gifting of Zahira possession.

St. Peter’s College kept their unbeaten record intact in the Singer Schools Rugby League 2018 against Kingswood College with a 20-10 victory at Havelock Park earlier this evening.
